Saw this short documentary on CNBC the other night and I was totally amazed at this idea! Blake Mycoskie, an entrepeneur went to Argentina and saw how majority of the children who live in poor neighborhoods have no shoes. So it gave him an idea, that if he started a shoe company that sold Alpargatas (an Argentinian inexpensive cloth shoe) and for every shoe they sold they would donate a pair to a child. Most people he told the idea to were pessimistic but he kept at it and now TOMS sells shoes worldwide and is providing free shoes to children around the world! What a great cause
